The Blackberry Storm 9500 made massive mobile phone news when it was released as this was the first of the Blackberry mobile phones to step away from the traditional full mini keyboard; the manufacturers finally realised that this had become something of an outdated look and they needed to appeal to a new generation of mobile phone users.  Realising that this was a smart move the second generation of Storm is due for release, so now is an excellent time to get some great mobile phone deals on the original handset.

This first generation software has a slightly clunky touch screen, however it does still do what it claims and the screen is responsive, if sometimes perhaps a smidge unreliable, however this clearly is a handset to rival the iPhone. It hasn’t really competed at the same level, but the Blackberry Storm 9500 does have its own loyal crowd of users who believe that this RIM technology is still the best on offer.  Again this phone has the built in camera and the other media features we have come to expect from Blackberry and it is still an impressive handset.

If you want cheap mobile phones then getting first generation software and products is always a good shout, it may not be as good as the second generation kit but it is an excellent way to get yourself onto that ladder and you can look to upgrade at a later date, read plenty of mobile phone reviews to ensure it has all the features you require.
