The phone is reasonable priced but the minutes can start to get expensive. Another option i would consider is the new straight talk, like prepaid there is no contract and for 45 you get unlimited talk and text a month. Its the best deal out there and the service is on the verizon network so is pretty good.

I LOVE THIS PHONE!!! I JUST WISH IT WAS ALL TOUCHSCREEN. THE ONLY THING THAT IS, IS THE KEYPAD.

    BESIDES THAT ISSUE, IT’S GREAT!

This is a GREAT phone. It is very nice to have a full qwerty keyboard, and a touch screen for dialing. The other reviews may tell you to stay away due to the phone plan. I find that this plan works very well, and you can choose your type of prepaid plan. This is by far the best “go phone” out there and I recommend it to anyone.

I’ve been an AT&T pre-paid user for about ten years because my cell use is fairly low. With the LG Neon/365, I can finally join the 21st Century and access e-mail, messaging, etc. from my phone. Reception and sound are good. It has a better-than-avg camera for a phone, takes a microSD card for easy transfer of pics and files, and is compact. T he speakerphone function works well enough that its can do hands-free duty in the car. Press once to answer, press again for speakerphone. It has Bluetooth, but I see no need for it if the only need is for hands-free use while driving (caveat: my car is fairly quiet). I really like the solid feel and the slider keyboard. Screen res and quality is excellent. Battery life is adequate. Recharges fast. My only complaints: screen visibility in bright sun is poor, and the battery cover is flimsy and not very secure. I do wish that mobile electronics mfrs would standardize on mini-USB ports so I wouldn’t need to carry three different chargers in my glove box.
