  • The phone itself is very good, it would easily get 4 stars from me and may be 5.

However, the software is simply horrible:

    1. You cannot listen to music on either wired or bluetooth headset.

    2. You can store files in the phone using WMP, but the player would not find them, you have to use the substandard VCAST software to simply copy your mp3s to the phone. The good thing is that there is no point to copy these files because you cannot play them through bluetooth device, see above.

    3. You cannot read books form overdrive library regardless of the way (VCAST or WMP) you used to save them.

    4. Voice commands are trying to be smart and do poor job at it. All I need a few commands to call numbers on my calling list and I do not mind to do some training help the phone to recognize the commands. Voice commands are trying to understand everybody from get go and fail more often than not – completely useless feature.

    5. To disable voice commands you have to reset the phone.

    6. Alarm clock has only 3 alarms and too few options for day: daily, sat, sun, weekdays.

And to all the people that commented that it is unfair to expect simple cell-phone software to work: if you have junk phone + junk soft it is pretty tolerable, however, having a more than reasonable phone paired with junk software is really annoying.

As an HVAC contractor I am on the phone constantly (some times 60 to 70 calls received a day) and need a reliable and sturdy phone. I don’t need a camera or alarm clock or music player. The convoy seemed like a great phone at first and the battery and display seemed great but I quickly found the phone to be very poorly designed. The holster is very hard to use and the phone has fallen out a couple times a day with the slightest bump. Every other flip phone out there has a clock that can be seen at all times. Not this one, you must open the phone to turn on the display. There are three buttons on the front of this phone but you must first open the phone to activate and/or use the front screen and then there are only a few items you can access so the front screen is worthless. This is neither a user friendly or well designed phone and if I had not destroyed the package when I opened it I would return it immediately.

  • This phone is perfect for the price. It has long battery life(2 Days). Good call quality and sound. It also works great as an MP3 player. It can play videos, but sometimes when I try to watch them it restarts the phone. It is a very tuff phone. I dropped it on gravel with it open and it didn’t even scratch the screen.

To the person who said: Good phone, retarded software. I think it should be: Good phone, retarded user. This reviewer complains that you can’t listen to music on head phones. Thats weird, because I listen to music using headphone all the time. Also you can use Windows Media player for transferring music. Again, I think its Good phone, retarded User.

Great Phone don’t hesitate to buy.

This is a great little phone if you only need to use it as such. No bells and whistles just a solidly built phone with exceptional battery life. Easy to use and carry around in your pocket.
