I bought a book from Textcellar and it said on the listing that the book was in a great condition. I paid $50 for the book and it looked like a $5 book. Very bad condition. Looks very badly handled and pages torn off on the corners. If you say it looks like new, it should look like new. I don’t think I am gonna buy from you next time.

I specifically asked the seller if the book doesn’t have highlighting because I have a hard time reading a textbook with the chapters highlighted. She said that it doesn’t have highlighting and the book is unused with just a slight crack on the cover. When I received the book, most of the chapters were highlighted. The book has been used and looks very old. The cover is worn out and some pages are ripped and folded. I wish that the seller told me the truth.

I was super excited to find the edition (5th) I needed for so cheap that is until it arrived. I was incorrectly sent the 4th edition and my class had already started. There was no way for me to contact the seller so I had to sit through a painful conversation with someone at Amazon’s customer service. In the sellers defense they did send out the correct edition but it arrived too late and my class had already started. It’s been a month and I’m still waiting for my refund. Buy beware!! I’m wary to purchase another textbook through Amazon for fear that this will happen again. I ended up having to purchase the book through another site and have it overnighted which ended up costing a lot…

Book was in very good condition and I recieved it in a timely manner with no problems.
